Occupational field/ Target audience
Our new and innovative curriculum was designed specifically to accelerate your progress through this highly ranked AACSB accredited MBA program. We do it by integrating courses, identifying key skills and concepts necessary for success in business and then helping you to master these skills and concepts through class discussions, cases, guest lectures, and projects.
Throughout the program, you will be exposed to the knowledge that builds insight into complex organizations. Core courses, indicated as green in the table below, will focus on the functional areas of business, how they interact, how they contribute the goals and objectives of the organization, and how they can be managed effectively. You will learn the behavioral and social skills that empower effective leaders in any organization, as well as the technical skills necessary to understand complex business processes, manage the development of technology projects, and utilize data for effective decision making.
Focus / Curriculum
Core courses and electives build an understanding of the business environment, but it is the Corporate Round Table (CRT) that provides you with the opportunity to apply this knowledge to the real world of business. Working closely with major companies such as Fidelity Investments and Liberty Mutual Life Insurance Company, the class is divided into small teams and assigned a real-life problem. These teams work closely with the host company and faculty advisors. At the end of the projects, presentations by the class are made to company sponsors.
